At twenty-four years old, Alicia jumped on a plane and relocated to London. The move was only supposed to be temporary, but ten years later she’s still finding reasons to stay (as well as pursuing a hobby deciphering cockney rhyming slang).
Her serious jobs have included writing business plans and preparing research and development grants. As a travel writer she’s contributed double-page features for mainstream outlets including the Times of Malta. In 2014, Skinny Dipping, her self-published romance novel, won a second place award in the Amazon Breakthrough Competition.
She lives with her husband James and secretly feeds the neighbour’s cat.
